Just a stone’s throw from the Canal du Midi, nestled among the golden vineyards of the Corbières, lies the village of Canet d’Aude—only fifteen minutes from the majestic city of Narbonne. The vacation rental invites you to enjoy a bright and peaceful stay, where time seems to stand still under the southern sky. In the heart of the village, small local shops—a bakery, grocery store, restaurant, and newsstand—offer a simple and warm way of life, all within 300 meters. In the surrounding area, nature and history come together: walks or bike rides through enchanting landscapes, exploring the Narbonnaise Regional Nature Park, day trips to the port of Le Somail, moments of tranquility on the beaches along the Aude coast, and fascinating tours of Fontfroide Abbey, the Cité de Carcassonne, or the mysterious Minerve. In the shared garden—a lush green oasis—you’ll enjoy moments of tranquility with the owners and guests from two other cottages, all part of a former mansion. The shared pool, open from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., from May through September, weather permitting (dimensions: 3.50 x 7.5 m, depth 1.30 m) invites you to relax, while the bocce court celebrates the art of leisure. The cottage on the second floor features a private, enclosed parking area and a secure entrance; a living room with a kitchen; one bedroom with a 140-cm bed; one bedroom with a 140-cm bed; a separate toilet; a bathroom; -reversible air conditioning. The highlight of this enchanting getaway is a wellness area: a spa open year-round, air-conditioned for ideal comfort. Welcoming and soothing, complimentary access is offered to one couple once a day (1-hour access): a whirlpool tub for two, an intimate sauna, a relaxation area perfect for daydreaming, and a fully equipped kitchen for your shared moments. (This space must be reserved on-site with the owners.) A private terrace overlooking the landscaped garden. The shower and restroom are a sanctuary of freshness, where every drop of water transforms everyday routines into poetry, adding to the magic of the place like a star in the southern sky.
