The host was very kind, he contacted us several times to ensure everything was ok and provided very detailed feedback about the maison's facilities, the parking at the area and the places we could visit at the village. Also, he had some welcome treats for us at the fridge and on the table, which was a nice gesture that we appreciated. The Maison was clean, had all the amenities we could need, had nice decoration and everything seemed new/renovated. The location was really close on foot to the local restaurants and bakeries, pharmacy etc. Herakleion city is also not far away by car. The check in was flexible and he was kind enough to allow us some extra time at the check out. Value for money overall, would highly recommend to visit.
Despite the fact that there is public parking outside of the maison it was occupied by permanent residents most of the time. However, there is a free space close by (5min on foot), but if you have a lot of luggages could be challenging. This is not owner's fault ofc. Also, the stairs inside the maison were a bit narrow and could be difficult to go upstairs/downstairs if you have small child or mobility issues and to carry the luggage. However, it is something that you can see at the photos.

We had a lovely stay! The contactless check-in was incredibly easy, and communication with the host was clear and smooth throughout. Free street parking was available right next to the apartment, and we had no trouble finding a spot. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our one-night stay. There was also a charming little courtyard that we unfortunately didn’t get a chance to enjoy. We would happily stay here again!
**A small thing to keep in mind:** The bedrooms are upstairs, accessible via a narrow spiral staircase. This might be a bit challenging for guests with mobility difficulties, but it wasn’t an issue for us at all.

Nice location: Easy to walk to restaurants and the lively area of the town.
The house had everything we needed.
The host always replied really fast to any questions we had.
Driving requires some skill in the town.
The stairs is a bit hard to get your luggage up. But there is enough space downstairs to leave luggage.
