This was a tranquil, restful place to stay, independent of the main house. I appreciated the view of the garden with blossom trees, & enjoyed watching the plump hens pecking about. At the end of our stay the host gave us some of the hens lovely fresh eggs, which was very kind of him!

Great friendly people. Rooms clean.

Cottage was very cold with only 2 oil electric heaters thst were not able to take cold out of the air. Hand towels in bathroom would be advantageoues and.only 1 face cloth for 2 people. Yes on tank water bug as peopke who are used to using tank water the quality of the water was well below standard. The smell and colour made it undrinkable. I know it was a cheap price but just basics need looking at seriously.
