Dissappointing
Good location, nice balcony.
Very disappointing stay. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this apartment in its current condition.
The biggest issue was the lack of cleanliness. Trash from the previous guests was still under the kitchen sink, and there was additional dirt and rubbish behind the bed. The apartment also had several visible damages throughout, all of which I documented with photos.
The air conditioning was extremely frustrating. It basically worked only at full power or not at all, and it was not possible to properly control the temperature or fan speed. For a place in Dubai, this is a major problem.
The apartment was also poorly prepared for two guests. There was not enough toilet paper, no coffee cups, no sponge, no dishwashing liquid, and no dishwasher tablets despite having a dishwasher. The knives were old and blunt. These may seem like small details, but when so many basic things are missing at once, it gives the impression that very little attention is being paid to the guest experience.
Another major issue was that only one access card was provided for two guests. When I asked about a second card, I was told that the building does not issue two cards. I found this explanation very misleading, as I am an Emaar investor myself and I am familiar with the process of requesting additional access cards. In my experience, an additional card can be arranged, so I did not appreciate being given information that did not appear to be accurate.
Overall, the combination of poor cleanliness, existing damage, missing basic supplies, the AC problem and the access-card situation made the stay very uncomfortable. At some point, we simply did not want to stay there anymore and decided to book another apartment and move out.
For the price and location, I expected a much better standard. The apartment has potential, but it urgently needs better maintenance, more thorough cleaning and much more attention to basic guest needs.
