Don’t rent room through Big Fish Rentals
The hotel is beautiful and has a good pool area.
I had an extremely terrible experience during my stay. Me and my family have stayed at Camelot multiple times in the past 5-7 years and have never had the experience that we had this past weekend. Entering the room we notice some cleanliness problems (dirty baseboards, and few crumbs and sunflower seeds on the floor, and stains on the walls) we didn’t think that it would get worst so we didn’t contact the front desk at that time. We went out to the beach and walked around before returning to the room to go to bed. Getting ready for bed we pulled out the sofa bed to find that bolts and screws were missing and the bed can not stand up on its own let alone have someone sleep on it. My nephew had to sleep on the floor on the mattress. The 2 queens beds had stains on all the sheets and the pillow case had stains as well as tho they had never been washed. We attempted to go to the front desk that night only to find them closed. We contacted the front desk early the next morning and then we find out we had to contact the owner of the room. We then started to contact Big Fish Rentals and they never responded to our calls. Me and my mother called and left multiple voicemails and text that were unanswered for hours. They never responded back to me but started texting my mother back in a demeaning way asking her “why were they were not contacted the night prior” or “we never received a call or text”. I will NEVER book through this company again and I will make sure to tell everyone I know and even post my review on all sites connected with this company. We could have been accommodated and not have leave negative reviews but we were made to look like the bad tenants for a room that was not up to par. We also spoke with their housekeepers as we were leaving and they stated too that they have reported the sofa bed being broken and no one has done anything about it. This is unacceptable!!
