The apartment is on the first floor and features a beautiful, light-filled living room, a pleasant, bright kitchen, a spacious entryway with a custom-designed wardrobe made of solid wood, and a bathroom with natural light, a shower, and a bathtub. The living room stands out with its bay window and balcony, which offer a breathtaking view of the cliffs, the Bärengarten, and Hohnstein Castle. The apartment was renovated in 2024 and furnished with real wood furniture and flooring.
There are a total of three bedrooms, which are assigned based on the number of guests booked:
- The “Rathaus” bedroom with a double bed and the option to add a mattress for 1 child up to 12 years old
- The “Bärengarten” bedroom with a double bed and the option to provide a mattress for one child up to 12 years old, and
- The “Bärenhöhle” bedroom with a double bed and a comfortable double sofa bed.



It is the view of the castle and the rocky landscape of the national park that makes a stay in our vacation rental truly unique. From the balcony and almost all of the rooms, you have a direct view of the historic Bear Garden, Hohnstein Castle, the rock massif with the Großer Halben peak, and the famous Malerweg trail.



On-site fees: Our HOUSE RULES Dear guests, we want our accommodation to be a temporary home for you. To ensure everyone feels comfortable, we ask that you follow the rules below: • General If you notice anything missing in our accommodation or if something needs to be fixed, please let us know. We’re happy to help. Please treat the furnishings with care so that we and our other guests can continue to enjoy the apartment. If you cause any damage to the furnishings, please notify us immediately. In most cases, such matters can be resolved quickly and easily through your liability insurance. • Parking: Parking one car on our property is permitted. • Keys: We will provide you with two keys for your stay. If a key is lost, the entire locking system must be replaced. The costs must be borne by the person responsible. • Waste Separation: Please carefully sort your trash into the designated bins. These are located in the courtyard. We have a compost pile in the garden. Bins for glass are located at the large parking lot 230 meters away. • Smoking: We ask that you smoke only outdoors and only in areas where it will not disturb anyone. Smoking is not permitted inside our accommodation. • Kitchen: Please return used dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans to the cabinets, washed and dried, before your departure. Please also leave any appliances you’ve used in a clean condition. • Slippers: Please bring your own slippers, as outdoor shoes are not permitted inside the vacation rental. • Bedding & Towels: Bedding and towels are provided for you. Please remove the bed linens before leaving the apartment and place them in the laundry basket in the hallway. • Your Duty of Care: Please close all windows and doors before leaving your accommodation. Please also make sure that all lights and the stove/oven are turned off. We ask that you use the available energy resources (water and electricity) responsibly and appropriately.



Check-in is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00, and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
