About this apartment rental
From our house, situated on a hill on the outskirts of the village, you can look out over the beautiful valley and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.
The studio apartments are located in the Vipava Valley, close to the coast in western Slovenia. We renovated our dream home here and converted it into two studio apartments in 2025.
From your apartment, you can walk right into the Natura 2000 Trnovo area, and the village is also nearby for a trip to the supermarket or a drink.
Take a bike ride through the valley, book a wine testing at one of the many wineries, or read a book in the orchard. Enjoy your favorite outdoor sport, take a walk and have a picnic in the adjacent nature reserve, or treat yourself to a culinary experience at one of the nearby restaurants. From a local inn to a Michelin-starred restaurant, the choice is yours. Want to combine your stay with a day at the beach, a cultural outing in the city, or a trip to the mountains? Everything is within easy reach.
On the other side of our house are two studio apartments, both with their own entrance and an enclosed, private outdoor area. We live on the other side with our dog, Sjaak. We also have an orchard and a garden with cozy seating areas that everyone is welcome to use.
Please note: The Municipality of Nova Gorica charges a €2.50 tourist tax per adult per night. For children ages 7 to 18, the fee is €1.25 per person per night. These fees are payable upon arrival.

One of the best places that I've ever stayed. The apartment has be renovated with love and care so it is both elegant and practical. The hosts are such lovely people and Sjaak their dog is such a character!
The views across the valley are beautiful and sunsets mesmeric.
Popping over to Italy for lunch is such a luxury!
We had a wonderful trip to Slovenia and this apartment was a particular highlight!
