Our home does not have AC. It sits at about 7400 feet above sea level, is surrounded by trees, off the river that cools the air and gets a nice steady breeze.
More importantly, the temps from Colorado Springs to this home are different. The outside night time temperatures drop much further, and much quicker because of the altitude.
Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and a portable fan.

Beautifully updated home on the river with generous space from neighbors. The home was clean, well appointed and easily accommodated our group with three families (including young children). The proximity to town is wonderful, an easy ten minute drive. The kids loved the bunk room and making s’mores in the fire-pit. The adults enjoyed the covered front porch. Communication with the host was seamless and timely. Only drawback was that the home was listed with A/C but does not have A/C. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit Pagosa.
