Close to Gatwick airport. Young gentleman on desk very helpful. Directly attached to a nice pub/restaurant

Overall my stay was fine. The room and bed were comfortable and clean and the bath tub was deep and had a plug!
My only criticism would be that the bath tub had scum and wasn't clean. The rest of the bathroom was very clean and towels were fresh.
It should be noted that the building does not have a/c but fans were provided and there is no elevator, so if you cannot manage to lug your cases up the stairs, then ensure you are booked on the ground floor level.
There is a pub next door that looked very popular and served a variety of British and Indian food. I did not visit it, but the menu was in my room and looked extensive!
Taxi fee to the airport was £22
