disgusting apartment, terrible customer service

NOTHING.

Arrived and staff told us the room we had booked and paid for was not available, they tried to offer us a different room which was 1 bedroom and we had booked a 2 bedroom. WE DID NOT STAY AND HAD TO BOOK ANOTHER HOTEL UP THE ROAD. Staff where very un-helpful and customer service was the same, they tried to say we had been told the room was not ready and we could wait 30 mins but this is a lie they told us the room "was not available". We think the room was double booked due to half term and as we was only 2 guest they tried to move us to smaller room.

Awful stay, awful communication, MUST READ REVIEW!!

Awful stay, awful communication, must read review!! The biggest issue was that there was no hot water for the entire duration of our stay, meaning we were forced to use freezing cold water throughout. We reported this immediately, however the issue was never resolved, which was the start of the shocking communication and lack of care from the owner. The “included parking” advertised with the property was also unavailable on arrival, as it appeared to be regularly used by locals and other flats within the property, leaving us having to pay separately for parking ourselves. To make matters worse, at around 3am on the first night we were woken by a man screaming, shouting, and attempting to smash his way through the apartment door next to ours for around an hour. This was happening directly outside our door and the situation felt genuinely unsafe, resulting in us contacting the police. After this incident we were unable to properly sleep due to feeling anxious and uncomfortable in the property. Overall the stay fell far below expectations and did not reflect what was advertised. We raised the issues during the stay and gave opportunities for them to be resolved, however the main problems remained unresolved throughout. I would strongly advise others to consider alternative accommodation.
