The property was imaculate , beautifully presented with French provincial styling both inside and out. Comfortable beds with beautiful linen. Large back yard with table and chairs to enjoy a coffee in the morning and a wine/beer in the evening.
Good variety of utensils in the kitchen.
Not too far from the CBD.
The noise. The property is on a major road running through Bendigo with audible noise from cars being heard from 5.30 am. Nothing that some ear plugs would not fix though.
The following is not that I didn’t like it, but some positive feedback.
As the property is directly on the foot path (no veranda) the blinds in the front lounge and bedroom were pulled down all of the time so some sheer curtains would be great so that the blinds could be put up.
Non slip mat in the shower.
There was no internet connection whilst there. I did find out that the network provided was not connected so the router possibly needs to be checked. I did email the owners re this but got no reply. I was provided with their mobile numbers for emergency but did not feel that this was an emergency.
Don’t let the above detract from your stay though it is beautiful.

The accommodation was of quite a high standard. Bedrooms and living room beautifully and comfortably furnished. There is a wonderful, paved garden at the back, but because of heavy rain we could not enjoy it.
The lacation was great , being pretty central and close to attractions.
The main road was busy and a but noisy, despite the double glazing.
We didn't cook, nor eat in, but the absence of a dishwasher may be a problem for some.
