Enjoyed it alot with close access to Raglan and clean tidy place for the night.

Was here for a quick 1 night stay and this setup worked perfectly - was clean and modern.

Be good if there were curtains on all the windows and maybe a few board games or something.

Nice place, poorly managed

Stay spoilt: details below.

Great property, but not yet well-managed. Our arrival was more complicated than necessary. It didn't help that it was raining heavily and dusk approaching. But we determined the rough location of the house 2250b from Google Maps. 1: we could see NO house number at the shared driveway entrance from the road. 2: as the adjoining driveway is labelled 2250; we hoped the UNMARKED driveway went to 2250b. 3: this driveway went to a closed & chained double gate - also UNMARKED. 4: after walking through this gate (innheavy rain)I passed several buildings & several cars - to find one UNMARKED doorway with a lock box. As the lockbox opened with the code they had given us, we decided we were in the right place. Plse look at the pics, can YOU see any indication / sign 2250b? Hint: there is one, brown on brown: good luck spotting it! On entry I saw the property is very attractive and as described. Then I went in the kitchen. ☹️ 1: There was an unpleasant smell - and many small flies. On opening the base cupboards I found one waste bin half-full of decaying fruit and food waste - full of many flies! ** 2: The other waste bin was full with waste for recycling. 3: The dishwasher was full of dirty plates, bowls etc that also smelt. Anywhere else guests are told to RUN the dishwasher when they leave, so everything is clean for the next guests. 4: Through the window I saw a dead bird on the terrace. 5: despite opening all doors and windows for ventilation, many flies remained throughout our stay. 6: the owner was not immediately available by phone. Later in the evening the apologetic cleaner arrived. But, like I said, not her fault. ** Hardly surprising given OWNER'S (not cleaner's) written instructions telling guests to leave half-full waste bins in the kitchen!! 😱 Clearly not experienced!
