Beautiful home - she did not hire a cleaning service and it showed.
The house was a beautiful historic house located in the Garden District of Baton Rouge.
I can tell that the house was thoughtfully decorated and lots of eclectic items and paintings on the wall walls, which gave it a very homie feel.
I can tell the kitchen was recently renovated as I had a lot of modern classic amenities.
With the Wright cleaning crew this house would be an ideal Airbnb.
The cleanliness!!!
The property needed a few few things.
It could have used a gardener for the back as it seemed a little overrun with slippery so much so that I did not feel comfortable to have my child play out there. The backyard seemed nice, but it was not opening and inviting and it did not seem like a safe space for a child to play..
The inside of the house when it came to cleanliness left a lot to be desired.
I did go into detail in an email, but the short version was that there were hairs and dust everywhere.
When I finally purchased a mop to mop the floor, the mop was literally black.
It took about four mops through before we could walk on the floor with our socks.
The bathroom, especially the massive bathroom definitely had black mold growing in the tiling, and they were hairs all over the black rugs.
The downstairs bathroom was not as bad though I did have thoroughly wipe down the tub because they were hairs in the tub and around the toilet.
It seemed that every time my toddler was running around, he was picking up people’s hairs left on couch, couches, and other services which forced me to vacuum almost every inch of the house to ensure that he wasn’t constantly tangled up in other peoples hair.
I left the dead fly in my closet, but there are other bugs that were in the main walking areas that I needed to clean up.
Lastly, the poison plants in the dining room was at the exact height of my toddler and just a poor place for poisonous plant.
