About this house rental
A dream retreat in Piedmont, nestled between Turin and Genoa at an elevation of 600 meters in a completely secluded location. This former small horse farm offers peace and quiet, nature, privacy, and—on clear days—a unique Alpine panorama. It’s an ideal base from which to explore the wonderful countryside and numerous attractions, or simply to have fun by the pool, on the playground, and in the garden.
There are 2 semi-detached houses available, which can be booked individually or together.
“Il Roseto II”: 3-room semi-detached house, 120 m², on the 1st floor. Renovated in 2024, surrounded by trees, meadows, fields, and hazelnut groves. Outside the village, 950 m from the center of Somano, in a secluded, quiet, sunny hillside location. Shared with Il Roseto I: natural property 4 ha, garden 3,000 m², featuring a natural garden, meadow, and above-ground pool (10 x 5 m, 120 cm deep; seasonal availability: May 1 – Oct. 15). Play area (soccer, bocce, etc.). Parking on the property.
Shopping in Somano, 1 km; supermarket 4 km; restaurant 1 km; “Savona” sandy beach 64 km. Nearby attractions: Bossolasco 4 km, Dogliani 7 km, Barolo 18 km, Alba 31 km, Asti 60 km, Turin 80 km.
Il Roseto II is beautifully and comfortably furnished: A large living room/bedroom with a panoramic window, featuring 1 large sleeper sofa, a dining table, TV, tiled/wood-burning stove, and a foosball table.
1 double bedroom. 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. One of the beds can be converted into a double bed, but this is recommended only for children.
Large, open, fully equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 glass-ceramic burners, toaster, electric kettle, electric coffee maker). Shower/toilet, separate toilet.
Wood-burning stove. Heating not available in all rooms. Wooden floorboards and tile floors. Large patio (30 m²), small patio (10 m²). Patio furniture, outdoor grill. Beautiful view of the countryside.
Bedding and towels are provided. The beds are made upon arrival.
Available: washing machine, crib for children up to 2 years old, hair dryer. Internet (Wi-Fi, free).
Please note: 1 pet/dog allowed. Private entrance, smoke detector, fire extinguisher, fire blanket, and carbon monoxide detector.
