Good.

The owner was very nice. My booking did not include the meal plan and this ryokan is known for its food. I was able to add it for the second night and breakfast.

It wasn’t very clean.

7 / 10

It was a good value for what I paid and I am greatful that it was an option for me

The staff was very kind and made a delicious dinner.

The bathrooms were quite gross and smelly and the pillows were filled with beans which was a bit uncomfortable

9 / 10

Comfy, friendly, good location.

The location is so natural.

As a foreigner, I was unfamiliar with Japanese traditional bath room.

6 / 10

Affordable accomadation for cherry blossom viewing

There was plenty of space to park and the shower was nice and hot. The rooms also had a flask of hot water, which was great for making hot tea.

The futon did not have a cover, and the room's heating was very poor making it uncomfortable to sleep. When I arrived to check in, there was also no one at reception which made the experience a little stressful.
