If you want to stay in Luxor and you are thinking east bank versus west bank, do not think twice. The west bank and this hotel are amazing. It is not easy to find, but once found and inside it is a perfect place to recharge your batteries. The garden is beautiful and the swimming pool an added bonus. The property is fairly new and well kept and clean. Karim the owner is a wonderful host and makes you feel so at home like family. Nothing is too much trouble for him, which he shows in a calm manner. His staff are helpful and kind. The food is excellent and breakfasts really appetising. Please do use his services for wherever you want to go or do in the area. We organised a balloon ride through him and it was truly amazing. I cannot recommend the Magic Garden enough it is a truly wonderful place and I would definitely not hesitate in visiting again.

We were looking for a peaceful accommodation on the West Bank of the Nile, as many of the area’s fascinating attractions are located nearby, including the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens, Deir el-Medina and Temple of Amun at Medinet Habu to name just a few. The photos of this charming little retreat only give you a glimpse of how lovely this place really is. With only a few rooms, the newer guesthouse offers a wonderfully quiet and relaxing atmosphere. It is tucked away in a little side street with no traffic on a sandy road. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was large and very comfortable. The entire property is beautifully maintained, and taking a refreshing dip in the pool at the end of a day of sightseeing was a real treat. Breakfast in the garden was a particular highlight, with everything fresh and delicious. You can also enjoy lunch and dinner at the guesthouse, both of which are excellent, freshly prepared and very reasonably priced. The ferry to the East Bank is about a 10-minute walk away, making it easy to explore the attractions in Luxor’s city centre as well. Karim was a wonderful host and his team were incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Karim also helped us arrange a driver for our sightseeing trips around Luxor, as well as a transfer to Soma Bay. If we ever return to Luxor, we know exactly where we will stay!
