Large home but needs renovation and thorough cleaning.

Location was excellent. Home was roomy enough for all 4 of us to spread out for reading and private time. The pool was clean and attractive, cabana provided shade, landscaping and flowers beautiful, and variety of birds chirping was wonderful to listen to.

So many problems! Lovely home that basically needs a total renovation. Lock box didn't work & key was difficult to use at entry gate. Worst problem was a horrid smell that permeated every room and clothes hanging in closets, enough to make you gag every time you walked in! Cleanliness was poor throughout. Windows, sliding doors, and mirrors dirty. Ants in sugar jar and kitchen cabinet. Hot water nonexistent in kitchen and sporadic in showers. Broken window in one bedroom. Description on Booking.com inaccurate (no dishwasher) and number of bedrooms incorrect. No banisters on steep stairs (dangerous!). Dropoff into living room not easily seen and a falling hazard. Dryer overheated dangerously. BBQ dirty and unusable. Kitchen had inadequate pots, pans, and utensils. No hotpads. Need to upgrade kitchen towels. We washed out kitchen cabinets to get rid of spills. Shower head in downstairs bathroom needs decalcification. Bed sheets not clean. Light switch hanging in upstairs bath. House rules incomplete--directions to garbage area not correct. Recliner in living room broken. Luckily, we weren't there much during our 8 days, and we spent most of our time outside at the pool. Smell upon entering was like a sewer, very unpleasant. Hard to sleep because of it.

Beautiful property but some serious issues with the stay for the price.

The location the pool and size of property were excellent. It also had everything needed for our stay. Everything was clean with some exceptions.

There was a terrible smell that was consistent during our stay like a sour milk or septic. Also the coffee machine had mold in it. We also had to kill 3 cockroaches.
