The idyllic town of Schwegenheim is located in the heart of “Germany’s Tuscany.” Nestled in the Rhine Valley and just a stone’s throw from the Palatinate Forest, we enjoy a particularly mild climate here. Our traditional wine festivals are known far beyond the region and are extremely popular. In addition, numerous cultural and culinary highlights in the surrounding towns beckon—whether it’s the historic cathedral city of Speyer, charming Landau, or the wine capital of Neustadt an der Weinstraße with its picturesque settings “among the vineyards.”
Those seeking urban life will also find what they’re looking for: the lively cities of Heidelberg, Mannheim, and Karlsruhe are within easy reach.
Your accommodations are located in a particularly quiet residential area on the edge of the forest. The house has two units: a cozy vacation rental on the first floor and the landlord’s apartment on the upper floor.
