About this chalet rental
CHALET DCB offers various types of apartments with well-equipped kitchens, as well as rooms without kitchens. Every unit is meticulously designed down to the smallest detail: they are warm in winter and cool in summer, comfortable, and distinctive, all featuring large windows and a balcony or direct access to the large rooftop garden. The highlight that makes this vacation home special is its spacious, panoramic rooftop garden with a BBQ area, gazebo, and picnic tables. MOUNTAIN BAR, a new, elegant on-site bar, has recently opened, where you can enjoy breakfast, aperitifs, and light meals. You’ll also find a carefully curated selection of fine wines and premium champagnes.
CHALET DCB is perfect for families, who can enjoy a variety of hikes in the Stelvio National Park, but it’s also ideal for a romantic getaway, as you can relax in the warm, natural healing waters of the three thermal spas in the area. An excellent location for sports enthusiasts: cyclists and motorcyclists can climb the Stelvio, Gavia, and Mortirolo passes—stages of the Giro d’Italia—while skiers can descend the Stelvio slope, made famous by the WORLD CUP held annually in Bormio and the upcoming 2026 OLYMPICS.
CHALET DCB is constantly evolving: it is renovated every year, and the latest project has placed a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability, adopting solutions aimed at reducing the property’s ecological impact and promoting the use of renewable energy.
Key features include:
- Use of a biomass boiler, which reduces CO2 emissions by utilizing a renewable energy source with low environmental impact.
- Energy efficiency optimization: Thanks to smart climate control and the smart home system, it is possible to reduce energy waste and optimize consumption based on guests’ actual needs.
- ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING: Installing an electric vehicle charging station promotes sustainable mobility by encouraging the use of vehicles with a low environmental impact.
- Reduced Energy Consumption: Integrating a smart control system reduces overall electricity and heat consumption, lowering costs and the property’s environmental footprint.
- Increased use of renewable energy sources: the project was designed so that 100% of the energy used in the facility comes from renewable sources, ensuring a reduced environmental footprint and greater long-term sustainability—all made possible by the installation of PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS and the replacement of the old boiler with a new wood-chip boiler.
