Pros: The building is unique and has historic charm which we enjoyed. The location was perfect for the reason of our stay.
Cons: The walls were paper thin. I could hear every single word of the neighbor next door. My husband had to knock on the door at a late hour for the neighbor to turn down the action movie that was being watched. I couldn't imagine if there was an event downstairs how loud it would have been. I could hear every person walking in the hallway.
The floors, though rustic in charm were quite loud to walk on and slippery as well.
The bathroom and bedroom could use more places to set things or "storage" easily could add additional shelving or curio cabinet.
The products in the shower were like water, maybe they were at the end of the use, but they didn't wash much.
Overall the stay was fine, I think with some acoustic paneling on the walls it would go a long way in the comfort of guests.
Would stay again if there were no other options in the area, rating solely based on the noise disruption.
