We had a wonderful stay at The Green Homestay! The property feels new, fresh, modern, and exceptionally clean. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the value for money was even better than we expected. The private pool was a huge highlight, giving us the perfect place to relax after every day of exploring. The breakfasts were delicious, too!
What truly made this place special was the hospitality. The owner is incredibly attentive, helpful, and thoughtful, even surprising us with lovely gifts. A special thank you to Prasad, who is such a kind and friendly person and helped us with everything we needed.
You can really feel that the whole team does their best to make your vacation memorable. We are so happy we chose this place and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. We would absolutely love to come back! ❤️

Secure location, friendly staff, 5 minutes from Galle Dutch Fort. Well-maintained rooms, recommended for families, couples, or solo travelers, especially solo female travelers. Worth the price.

The room was spacious, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The property also has a rooftop with a great view, which is perfect for dining or hosting small parties.
It’s budget-friendly and offers excellent value for the price. What impressed us most was the hospitality. As soon as we arrived, the owner contacted us personally to welcome us and ask if there was anything he could do to make our stay more comfortable, even though he wasn’t in Sri Lanka at the time.
Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this place.
