So many negative reviews for no reason. It’s London, of course an old city is going to have old facilities! If you want a modern experience go to a freaking Hilton. The room was cozy, the beds and blankets make you feel like a sleepover at your grandparents house when you were a kid. The staff is absolutely wonderful, even after I’ve witnessed how some guests talk to them. Yalla re truly awful to the staff for no reason and they STILL don’t stoop to your levels. I enjoyed every second of my stay, I’d live here if I could. Nice cozy room, hot water in the showers, and the friendliest cleaning staff I’ve met to date!
Don’t forget to grab your hygiene products. There’s a tescos express and a Morrisons daily right down the road so there’s no excuse. The location is perfect, right across from kings cross and plenty of food options!
The other guests can be assholes to the staff

Fantastic location. Good value for a budget stay in London.
Facilities were basic.

I was actually put in a room on 3rd floor. Cute room with en suite and tv and kettle and tea bags
Noisy outside (but what did I expect being opposite kings cross station and on a busy road…!)
The mattress was rather soft/lumpy

Clean, central location. Nice cleaners.
Room was boiling hot (this was beginning October), so had to leave a day early. Light in bathroom went out when having a shower so had to repeatedly step out of shower. Was unsure about the security because of open windows in the hall that led directly onto the roof.
