The host and family were wonderful and very accommodating. Great views and quiet location. We would highly recommend the Roa Lodge.

The property is situated only about 15 minutes drive from the airport as well as from the cruise port. The owner was kind enough to receive us at the airport and drive us to the property. As we are vegetarians, the owners gave us bananas, pomelo, juice and boiled taro, and this was a commendable gesture. The view of the ocean and the port from the property is breathtaking. They also suggested a taxi service that took us around the island for sightseeing before dropping us at the cruise port.
There are no nearby restaurants as the property is located on the top of a small hill (which, by the way, enables a fabulous view).

Basic but clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were great. The family running it were lovely and helpful.
The location made it challenging to book a taxi or to get to the city services.
