Very désappointed
Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the accommodation we discovered, which, in our opinion, does not correspond to the description provided on Booking.com.
In order to correct what the owner herself described to us as a “commercial description”, we feel it is important to provide future guests with some factual information and to clarify several points:
– There is no private swimming pool. Access to the pool is an additional charge, at the hotel next door, at a price of €10 per day per person, and it is only available from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
– This house offers very little privacy. It is located within a group of houses, in the immediate vicinity of a hotel and other residential properties, with people constantly passing by. The garden is not directly in front of the house, but approximately 50 metres away. To make matters worse, the owner herself lives in the same building, on the second floor.
– It is impossible to sleep peacefully after 7:00 a.m. due to considerable outside noise, including trucks, deliveries, and especially numerous people walking their dogs while calling out loudly to them, without taking the residents’ sleep into consideration.
– All the tables were covered in dust. Upon arrival, it was surprising, given the rental price, to have to clean the accommodation ourselves.
On the positive side, it is convenient to have a bathroom for each bedroom and the kitchen is well equipped. For this reason, I am giving the property one star rather than zero.
