Absolutely disgusting caravan, no working boiler, appalling communication and a completely ruined family holiday. We wer

Leaving! Unfortunately, there was nothing positive about our experience. What should have been a lovely family holiday with our two young children turned into an extremely stressful and upsetting experience.

Absolutely everything! We paid £345 for a three-night stay with our two children, aged two and four, and had to abandon our holiday on the very first evening. The caravan was filthy when we arrived. There were bugs in the beds and fridge, hairs in the shower, dirty toilets and beds that looked like they hadn’t been made properly. The boiler wasn’t working, and Parkdean’s maintenance team confirmed the gas bottles were empty. They left without replacing them or resolving the problem. I repeatedly contacted the owner, but my messages were ignored. Booking.com subsequently informed us that the owner required us to leave immediately if we were receiving a refund. Even without that instruction, we couldn’t reasonably have stayed because of the unacceptable conditions and lack of working gas facilities. We had to wake our two young children, pack everything up and make a three-hour journey home late at night, including stopping to charge our electric car. Our family holiday was completely ruined. The lack of cleanliness, basic facilities, communication and support was unacceptable. I would never recommend this caravan to another family.

The Caravan has everything you could want for a dog friendly break.

Location I was attending a festival at the Trecco Bay Entertainment Centre which was only a two minute walk away from the caravan. It was nice to be able to take our dog.
