About this apartment rental
Our Liebhart organic farm is located in beautiful Honau in the municipality of Obing. We offer two wonderful, spacious, quiet, and beautiful vacation apartments in the attic of our farmhouse, each with a separate entrance.
Each apartment can accommodate 2–4 people. An extra bed is available upon request. Each apartment features a large double bed (180 cm) and a sleeper sofa.
The kitchens are fully equipped. The living-dining area leads out to the balcony, which offers a beautiful view of the orchard and pasture.
You’re also welcome to purchase products directly from our farm.
Feel free to ask us about currently available products, such as organic pasture-raised beef and pork, potatoes, honey, etc. If you’re interested, we’d also be happy to give you a tour of the farm. Visiting the pigs and cattle is usually a highlight, especially for children.

The various rooms are accessed through the apartment’s hallway/entryway. The apartment features a large living/dining room with a kitchen, a sleeper sofa, and a TV. The balcony is also accessible from here. The kitchen is fully equipped. A large double bed (200 cm) and a couch that can serve as a sleeper sofa together accommodate up to 4 people. An additional crib is available upon request.
If you’re interested, you’re also welcome to barbecue in our garden and use the patio furniture.
You’re also very welcome to purchase products directly from our farm. Feel free to ask us about currently available products, such as organic pasture-raised beef and pork, potatoes, vegetables, honey, etc.
We’d also be happy to give you a tour of the farm upon request. Visiting the pigs and cattle is usually a highlight, especially for children.
Honau is a good 5 km from the vacation town of Obing. The nearest shopping and dining options are located there. In addition, the town of Obing serves as the starting point for special bike tours in the Chiemgau vacation region. Other highlights, such as the Chiemgau Mountains and the lake district, are just a few minutes’ drive away.
We, the Liebhart family, converted our farm to organic farming in 1999. From that point on, we dedicated ourselves to free-range suckler cow farming and vegetable cultivation on our organic farm. Since 2008, we have been raising pigs in free-range conditions.
On “ 01.05.2024,” the farm was taken over by the youngest son, Hermann Liebhart, who now runs the operation and will also be offering the vacation apartments starting in 2025.
