The Nord 1901 is an excellent choice for travellers to Girona, being situated just off Independence Square within a short walk of Barri Vell and close enough to walkf rom the train station. The room itself was spacious and the bed very comfortable. A welcome standout amenity is the enclosed pool and sun deck area at the rear of the property which was an oasis to relax in the heat of the day.
The reason for 4* is our room was overlooking the Carrer Nord and the street noise was audible from the room and disturbed our sleep and peace. If possible, request a room overlooking the rear courtyard and pool.

We stayed only 1 night at this hotel, but we absolutely loved it. The hotel was small, but comfortable, our room was perfect for me and my husband. The concierge was very helpful with recommendations of where to visit and nearby food / bars. Girona was one of our favorite locations we visited. We will definitely come back in the future!
