The house has been beautifully and sympathetically restored. The bed was comfortable and the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen living area a good size. There is a lovely, comfortable outdoor seating area.,Barbecue with tools and a pizza oven.
There are lots of spots to sit outside in the large grounds and the covered pool was great in late October when we were there..
However. It is the kindness and generosity of the hosts and their family which make it such a special place to stay. There was bread, cheese ham, honey, jam, butter, fruit and wine. We were made to feel very welcome by Jose, Theresa and their twin sons who guided us to the property.
We loved Quinta da Poipa and the delightful family. So theres nothing we didnt like. . We drove a short distance to a local restaurant for dinner.
You are close to the motorway for places to visit.
Just be aware the directions said. the destination was on the left but it was on the right and a few yards away.

:(. Se hizo corto.
