Not as described! Terrible!!!! We had to leave earlier!!!
Not as described! Terrible!!!! We had to leave earlier!!!
This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had.
The house may look beautiful in the pictures, but in reality it is completely different and very misleading. From the moment we arrived, we noticed a strong, unpleasant smell of old furniture and cigarette smoke inside the house. It was very uncomfortable to even stay there.
The cleanliness was unacceptable. In one of the bedrooms, there was hair on the bed, which clearly shows that the place was not properly cleaned. The towels were old, worn out, and did not feel clean at all. There were also not enough linens, blankets, and basic necessities like shampoo and laundry detergent — we had to buy everything ourselves.
The pool was dirty when we arrived, and some equipment and lights were not working. In addition, there was no gas for the grill or fire pit, which again forced us to spend our own money.
The mattresses are extremely old and very uncomfortable — it was nearly impossible to sleep on them.
What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of safety and privacy. At one point, strangers from a cleaning company entered the house WITHOUT any notice while we were away. A family member was inside sleeping and woke up to unknown people walking around the house. This is absolutely unacceptable and a serious safety violation.
Later, workers showed up without ANY warning and started spreading black soil right next to the house and pool area. The smell was unbearable — it smelled like manure, like being on a farm. It was impossible to stay outside or even inside because of it. The workers did not speak English, communication was impossible, and their behavior felt aggressive and intimidating. We genuinely felt unsafe.
Because of this, we were forced to leave the property earlier than planned.
On top of everything, the hosts were extremely rude and unprofessional. They ignored messages for hours and responded 3–4 hours later in a very dismissive and unfriendly manner.
