Modern, well appointed, quiet, spacious rooms in a great location. Small boutique hotel. Close to train station, lots of places to eat. Walk into Shinjuku easily. Staff are fabulous 👌 👏 led by Mrs Mun who is amazing. Treats in the cafe area throughout the day 😋 and sake tasting. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and we are seasoned travellers. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and we would recommend your hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo.

The room was spacious enough and clean, water pressure is really strong, and all the personal request was followed to the property best ability.

This was in a fantastic area, station so close and quieter than being in shinjuku with all the exits. The station is direct on JR line which was great. Staff were so friendly and helpful, they helped me with luggage transfer. Lovely hand written note when we left. This was really a 10 out of 10 quiet and friendly in the bustle of the city. Would definitely stay here again. Even looked to change our last hotel so we could stay again but it was fully booked. Hotel was so pretty and so clean, bathrobes left for guests. There is free breakfast and drinks in the communal lounge. This was a great stay, thank you. Definitely recommend!

The best thing about Matsunoi is, without a doubt, its staff. From day one, everyone was incredibly kind, attentive and patient with us. They always greeted us with a smile and were happy to help with anything we needed: recommendations, directions or any questions we had. They made us feel truly welcome throughout our whole week. The location in Shinjuku is also very convenient for getting around Tokyo. We would definitely come back.
