About this house rental
Welcome to our brand new, family-friendly home, thoughtfully designed for your comfort and enjoyment. Nestled in a quiet corner of Prebbleton, this modern house is your perfect retreat.
Step into the bright, open-plan living area where you can unwind on plush leather recliners and enjoy a movie night on the large, backlit television. The modern, fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious family meals, which can be enjoyed at the adjacent dining space.
HOUSE RULES
1. The most important rule. Have fun!
2. You`ll be staying in someone`s home, so please treat it with care and respect.
3. Checking in and out.
Check-in at 4 pm unless arranged prior
Check-out at 10 am unless arranged prior
Any deviation from this is by request only in advance and we will do our best to accommodate. Unapproved late check-outs and check-ins will be charged $100/hour.
4. During your stay, only the number of guests confirmed at the time of your booking are permitted to stay. If you bring more people than agreed upon in your reservation, you will be asked to leave without refund and / or charged an extra $70 per person per night.
5. The booker or primary guest must be 25+ .
6. Furry baby welcome
We are a pet-friendly accommodation but we ask for a refundable pet bond. If you bring a pet, we would like to know your fur baby prior to your arrival so please let us know. Pet fee applies.
7. Quiet hours
10:00 pm - 8:00 am. No loud noise outside after 10:00 pm. As we are in a residential complex, guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbours.
8. Parking
There should be enough parking for two cars in the front of the house or off the street but avoid parking on the neighbour and our lawns.
9. No parties or events and no commercial photography. Only pre-approved gatherings are permitted.
10. Smoking, Vaping and Drugs
Smoking including vaping is NOT allowed inside and drugs of any kind are NOT permitted in the property. Any damage caused by these actions will result in a $200 extra cleaning fee plus all the replacement costs of any other further damages.
11. Please keep the property and all furnishings in good order, removing any items from the property, including linens, and living & kitchen furnishings, is not permitted and you will be charged accordingly if anything is removed.
12. Only use appliances for their intended uses. Should any damage occur, please notify the hosts immediately. Any damage to any items at the property, including couches, chairs, tables, wall arts, TVs, beds, sheets, towels, pillows, etc., are the responsibility of the renter. Every item will be looked at before arrival and after departure.
13. Maintenance is not available during your stay unless it`s urgent ( water leakage, blocked sewer, broken windows/doors ). If something is broken or not working ( dishwasher, microwave etc) please let us know! We will repair/replace after your stay. Any minor issues e.g. ice water dispenser or Xbox is not working, please message us. We will be happy to assist you.
14. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities, as well as loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
15. Before you leave, we ask that the items below be completed to help our housekeeper prepare for the next guest:
-Please empty the fridge and put your rubbish / recycling in their designated bins which are normally on the side or back of the property.
-Please load all dishes into the dishwasher and turn on.
-Please leave sheets and comforters on the beds.
-Please lock all doors and all windows upon departure.
16. If you think you cannot honour these rules, we ask you not to book.

This 3 bedroom house was totally identical to the pictures. In fact I would say better. The house was beautiful, cosy, clean, and the bed was comfy. This home was perfect for me and the cat, to which they were very accommodating. I stayed here for 2 weeks after moving back to ChCh from Brisbane, and honestly, I didn’t want to leave. Matt and Bev were amazing hosts, they communicated regularly right up to check in and when I had an issue with the front door someone was there to fix within an about 15mins. There was a lovely snack basket on the kitchen counter and drinks in the fridge in the games room, all complimentary.If you are looking for somewhere that’s away from the busy suburbs and city but close enough to get to them, then this is where you should be. A supermarket and a few takeaways, and a cafe plus others are a 2 minute walk. Hornby Mall is a 10 minute drive. I can honestly say that this beautiful home is worth more than 5 stars. If I could rate it higher I would and the price I paid for the 2 weeks was very reasonable.I definitely recommend Matt and Bev’s home if you want a nice quiet place to stay with your family and fur babies. The property was clean, tidy, and really well thought out for travellers. It had everything we needed, and the location was perfect within walking distance to pretty much everything. If it’s within your budget, just book it. You won’t be disappointed.
