Caution- false

Nothing

We never stayed. Upon arrival and seeing the "safari lodge house" we left. The advertising fotos are old, this is not how the house looks currently. Not safe for small children, heavily lacking in maintenance. We were told to keep all doors and windows closed for safety due to the nature and animals. How? The front door with door frame is coming away from the building. You cannot close without locking with a key...Just to keep the door from swinging open The toilet seat is broken The "loft/studio" floor is broken and has a layer of plastic stuck over to cover up the holes I personally missed that there is no safety rail on the steep stairway, which the agent and owner made very clear that I had missed... However there are treads lose which is dangerous to anyone never mind 3 year old. The house was not cleaned before arrival to which the agent responded due to stage having off weekend.. Droppings on the outside bed(out the loft door) and dust on the upper beds The fridge was turned on by the owner while showing us around, needless to say not cold. The swimming pool needs attention, not just dust and debris from a storm as the owner and agent tried to have us accept. The owner and agent denied all and our request for refund fully denied. In hindsight, we should have taken fotos and videos, a lesson learned. Certainly no recommendation or repeat visit from us. R2268 waisted *we were notified the owner inspected the facility and all allegations are false. He lives right near the house. He himself met us on arrival. Never bothered to turn on the fridge before arrival, no sugar, the knobs on the drawers where cutlery is kept are broken and lie on top for you to try and open the drawers... I can go on. An expensive lesson for us, please always take fotos

Great bushveld experience!

Great location with wildlife around the lodge. The guided nature walk was great and we encountered Giraffe, Zebra, antelope and lovely birds on foot. Very comfortable stay.

Everything was great!
