Man hatte Privatsphäre. Einen kleinen Garten. Es war sehr komfortabel und die Vermieter waren sehr sehr nett!
Die Handtücher haben etwas muffig gerochen.

The host left some breakfast options, however we did not make use of them. But there were coffee pods and tea bags etc which was a nice touch and I definitely made use of them. The bathroom had shower gel and shampoo and fresh towels.
For me the bed that I was sleeping in was a bit too soft and so I did not have the best nights sleep and the pillows were the type that just squash flat under the weight of your head. I accept that it is personal preference when it comes to the softness of the mattress, as my wife enjoyed her sleep so it couldn't be that bad.

De hele -net afgebouwde- privé-woning minus 1 zolderkamer staat ter beschikking. Recht voor de deur is een privé-parkeerplaats. De foto’s op de website geven het juiste beeld. De slaapkamers zijn ruim en de bedden slapen lekker. De keuken heeft alle faciliteiten en de benodigdheden daarvoor zijn al aanwezig (afwasblokjes, wasmiddel). De eigenaar heeft een klein kindje waardoor er kinderbedjes/bestek en een kinderstoel aanwezig is. Top. De utilityruimte beneden bevat de beneden-wc, wasmachine, wastafeltje en de mogelijkheid voor mensen in de 2e slaapkamer om daar zich klaar te maken als de badkamer boven in gebruik is.
Het is 20 min rijden naar het centrum van Oxford.
Bij aankomst zat er net gewassen beddengoed in de wasmachine (die we op zolder te drogen hebben gehangen) en moesten we zelf de vuilniszakjes in alle vuilniszakjes doen en wc rollen ophangen. Er lag eten in de vriezer. Het huis was wel schoongemaakt, waardoor leek alsof de host niet alles af had kunnen maken. De host vroeg ons om de schoenen uit te doen om de nieuwe vloerbedekking schoon te houden (zeer begrijpelijk). Het was fijn geweest als er een stofzuiger was zodat we mee hadden kunnen helpen het huis beter schoon te houden.

Nice bedrooms and space for sitting in living room and kitchen. Car space outside a benefit
I felt a bit strange being in someone’s house. Kitchen full of stuff but not clear what was for guests. Washing machine locked my clothes in and a bit of drama to get it open which left us with smelly soaking wet clothes to take to our next destination. Bathroom lock fell off leaving me trapped in the bathroom. No charging points next to the bed. Construction noise starts up early. No coffee shops or cafes nearby in the estate. Very poor breakfast - would prefer it was listed as no breakfast.
