Bright, peaceful and beautifully renovated, this elegant 220 m² apartment occupies the first floor of a late-19th-century historic building (no elevator), overlooking a charming square at the entrance to Ortigia.
The apartment enjoys lovely views over the historic marina and its waterways. Its excellent location allows guests to explore Ortigia entirely on foot, from its picturesque streets to the ancient market and the Temple of Apollo. Situated outside the restricted traffic zone (ZTL), it is also conveniently accessible for guests arriving by car.
Exceptionally spacious for a home in Ortigia's historic centre, the apartment features three generously sized bedrooms, a large living area, a spacious eat-in kitchen and three bathrooms, all with windows and showers.
Two bedrooms have double beds measuring 190 × 190 cm (75 × 75 in) and 180 × 190 cm (71 × 75 in). The third bedroom has two single beds measuring 90 × 190 cm (35 × 75 in), which can be joined to form a double bed. Each single bed also has an additional pull-out bed, suitable for children.
The interiors combine carefully selected antique furniture with contemporary pieces. High ceilings, marble floors and large French windows enhance the apartment's elegant character and natural light. A beautifully restored late-19th-century fresco, discovered during the renovation, adorns the ceiling of one of the bedrooms.
Modern double-glazed windows provide excellent sound and thermal insulation, ensuring a particularly quiet and comfortable atmosphere despite the central location.
The entire apartment is air-conditioned, including all three bedrooms, the living area and the kitchen.
A storage room near the entrance and a separate laundry area equipped with a washing machine, ironing board and iron provide additional convenience for longer stays.
