Poorly maintained & photos online do not represent the current condition.
The location was great as it was near the 4x4 beach access. The property could be nice if maintained better as it has many amenities, such as the pool, hot tub, and ping-pong table.
Due to space limit,- listed the worst.
- While staying, when some of us were using water on the upper levels, the bottom level bathroom tub, toilet, and sink backed up causing the bathroom, part of the bedroom, and hall to flood with sewage water. When reporting to the emergency number provided, the first after-hours call rep. never put in the order for someone to respond. I called again two hours later & they had no record of my call. I also requested more towels as we used towels to stop as much as we could from spreading further. The towels were not brought until the following evening. A fan was placed in the area but NOTHING ELSE. As there are concerns regarding potential health risks from exposure to the sewage as well as subsequent mold growth due to the moisture present. The IICRC classifies a sewage loss as Category 3 water which they define as “Category 3 water is grossly contaminated and can contain pathogenic, toxigenic, or other harmful agents and can cause significant adverse reactions to humans if contacted or consumed. The fact a restoration crew was not contracted immediately to address the contamination is grossly negligent regarding occupant safety.
-The house smelt musty/moldy. Also, there was mold on the ceiling in one bathroom.
-The thermostat was on heat on the second floor upon arrival. The relative humidity was above 60%. The lower level thermostat was set on cool at 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
-It was FILTHY: Pillow cases in one bedroom still had ALOT of hair from the previous occupant, the dishwasher was overloaded with dishes & not put away. The dishwasher smelt like it caught on fire. There were dirty towels and dishes by the pool, and trash. The grills were not clean.
-The upper level rear porch railing was loose; therefore, very unsafe.
-One of the sofas in the living room was broken and unsafe.
