Die Unterkunft ist mit vielem ausgestattet, was man für einige Tage braucht. Es gibt eine Küche mit Geschirr, Seife, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, sogar eine Gästetoilette.
Das Schlafzimmer hat kein eigenes Fenster (AC vorhanden), aber dadurch ist es dort nachts leiser als im Wohnzimmer.
Wir hätten uns über eine persönliche Begrüßung in der Wohnung gefreut. Offenbar scheute man den direkten Kontakt. Ich weiß nun auch, weshalb das so ist. Die Unterkunft in der Trompstraat 3 war nicht leicht zu finden, weil von außen ein Schild fehlte und das Gebäude zudem offensichtlich noch eine Baustelle ist. Darüber waren wir irritiert. Nachdem wir die Schlüssel ausprobierten, ging die Tür zum Haus auf. In dem Moment war ich ziemlich enttäuscht. Denn das Gebäude ist alles andere als fertig gestellt oder gar ferientauglich.
Coral & Coco verwaltet in dem Gebäude trotzdem Gästewohnungen. Und auch das Treppenhaus selbst wirkte auf uns wie im Rohbau. Es hingen offene Kabel aus der Wand heraus, zwei Etagen hatten Lampen und Licht, aber genau vor unserer Wohnung wurde noch keine Außenlampe mit angebracht. Dadurch sieht man leider auf der Treppe ohne Taschenlampe fast nichts (hohe Unfallgefahr!). Unter unserer Wohnung wird eine weitere Wohnung „fertiggestellt“ oder sie dient als Abstellkammer? Dünne Gipswände und eine Tür aus Holzspan mit einem Plastikschloss lassen das Sicherheitsgefühl verschwinden und wirkt zudem sehr einfach. Auch die Wertigkeit dieser Unterkunft muss infrage gestellt werden. Denn als wir in der Wohnung waren, wirkten die Möbel sehr billig und insgesamt war alles sehr steril und lieblos gehalten. Das Sofa war schmutzig und hatte sehr viele Flecken. Beim Gäste-WC guckten unter der Spüle die Rohre raus (ohne Verkleidung, kein Sinn für die Details). Der Unterschrank hatte ein riesiges Loch. Vor dem Gäste-WC guckte ein langes Kabel aus der Wand (Kinder sollten sich in dieser Wohnung oder im ganzen Haus nicht aufhalten!). Die Küche war leider sehr schmutzig. Auf dem Kühlschrank waren undefinierte schmierige Flecken. Der Boden war schmutzig und im Schlafzimmer fehlte ein Kleiderschrank. Stattdessen gab es eine wackelige Kleiderstange ohne Kleiderbügel. Somit stand es eher sinnlos rum und nahm nur Platz weg. Das Bett war schmutzig und voller Haare.
