Stay here only if you want to spoil your holiday

They provided us with fans

This was an extremely disappointing stay and completely unacceptable for the 3,000 NOK per night we were charged. We arrived at around 6:30pm and had to wait while the host dealt with another guest. We were finally allowed into the apartment at around 7:00pm, when we discovered that it had not been properly cleaned. There were wet towels that appeared to have been used by previous guests, which we nearly used before realising they were not fresh. The beds were also missing proper bedsheets and pillowcases. Before the apartment was cleaned, the floors were so dirty that our feet became dirty simply from walking inside. We had previously sent messages asking how to check in and requesting extra towels, but received no reply. We eventually had to call a Norwegian telephone number, and communication was difficult. After we reported the condition of the apartment, the host began cleaning it at approximately 7:45 pm. We had to leave and wait in their lounge while the apartment was prepared. We were tired after travelling but could not properly enter and settle in until around 8:30 pm. It is unacceptable for paying guests to wait around two hours after arriving because the accommodation has not been prepared. After the cleaning proper bedsheets and pillowcases were still not provided. The listing did not clearly state that guests were expected to bring their own bedding, which should have been made clear before booking. The layout was also very strange and impractical. The bathroom opened into the lounge and was located quite far from both bedrooms. There were also no wardrobes or suitable places to store clothes. This did not feel like accommodation properly prepared or managed for paying guests. In our opinion, it was not worth even 1,000 NOK per night, let alone the 3,000 NOK charged. The dirty condition on arrival, wet towels from previous guests, missing bedding, poor communication, and long delay before we could settle in seriously affected our stay

We will certainly recommend this place to friends and family.

Fantastic location. Short drive to the attractions. Supermarkets and little mall within walking distance. The apartment was very spacious with a large kitchen and dining table. We could cook and enjoy our meals together.

The wifi strength needs to be improved. Some parts of the of the apartment the internet was weak. Although a washing machine was provided, there wasn’t a dryer. Would be good if a dryer is also provided.

L’ appartement était spacieux.

Il est situé à 15 minutes à pied de la gare et il faut monter une petite côte. Il n’ y avait pas assez d équipement: pas de grande casserole ou de marmite, pas de balai ni d étendoir pour le linge alors qu il y avait une machine à laver. Le four n’était pas propre.
