Where do I even begin?! 😍
I'll admit, I was initially a little sceptical about making our booking online. So, naturally, I picked up the phone to confirm that our reservation was actually real! 😂 And that's when I spoke to the wonderful team from Rafiki Tamu (Njoki & Irene), They reassured me that everything was in order and that all we needed to do was show up. Everything would be exactly as advertised. And boy, did they deliver on that promise!
We were travelling by road and expected to arrive at the rather ungodly hour of 3 AM. The Team was kind enough to arrange our late check-in, and honestly, what awaited us was hospitality at its finest!
Imagine arriving exhausted after hours on the road, only to be welcomed by smiling, friendly staff, a ridiculously smooth check-in process, assistance with our luggage, and a beautifully clean room waiting for us, complete with drinking water and fruits! At 3 AM, people! THREE IN THE MORNING! 🥹
And it only got better!
We were quite a large group, occupying about 10 houses, so you can imagine the logistics involved. But the Rafiki Tamu team handled us with such ease and professionalism that we never once felt like we were too many. Breakfast? Always enough for everyone! Service? Impeccable! The food from their restaurant? Absolutely divine! 😋
And can we talk about the cleanliness?! From the rooms to the grounds and even the parking lot, everything was spotless, beautifully maintained and well organised. Every encounter with a member of staff came with a genuine smile. The security team, the restaurant staff, the housekeeping team... everyone made us feel so welcome.
You know that feeling when you're on holiday and you don't have to worry about a single thing because someone has already thought of everything? THAT was Rafiki Tamu!
