I will never be back!!!!!
The location is amazing. I was downtown Gatlinburg in less than 15 minutes.
They keep calling this a “cabin”, which is what I wanted. You know; small cabin in the woods, private, No people, quite? Well this is a condo or apartment in a complex with 100’s of people around. NOT A CABIN. Quite calling it a cabin. Hey I think I have a “false advertisement” case 😲 I took pictures but saving in case I need them.
Regardless, it was truly upsetting. I’m 65 and I brought my sister, 63 and on oxygen. Walking is a task for her. I instantly wanted to call and demand a “real cabin” but I knew she was not up for all the aggravation that it would have caused her. IM STILL SO MAD.
We were not allowed to check in till 4 without being charged $50 dollars per 30 minutes on Thursday and HAD to check out at 10 AM. 10 am…..we’re old folks for God’s sake. It’s takes my sister a good 2 hours in the mornings for her breathing treatments and to get her lungs lined out for
the day. We ended up leaving at 10 and went to nearby gas station for her to finish her treatments. So uncalled for. I asked Arvada Properties and the owner 3 times to please allow check out till at least noon. 3 times same reply. We could for an extra $250 to cover her cleaners fee which I already paid $155 for?????? Absolutely no stay past 10 am.
So our actual time spent in the cabin was one full day (Saturday) for a three day two night trip. We got one full day.
The CONDO was dirty and old old old. Boards in living room floor buckled up and caused us both to trip several times. The door handle to the balcony door was put on with a loose screw and electrical tape which I ended up breaking again. Just so old and dirty.
I will NEVER return and I hope this exposing Arvada properties and the owner of the “CONDO” for FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!!!!
