You can stay in a building designed by Bawa at a relatively reasonable price. Bosco, the butler, was the most sincere and genuine Sri Lankan I have ever met. The surrounding area is an upscale residential neighborhood home to many embassies, yet a short walk away you’ll find a variety of nice cafés—it’s a great location.
There is only an overhead shower; there is no handheld shower. It would also be convenient to have a small chair and an electric kettle in the room.

An interesting modernist house with a courtyard garden and lots of white walls. Quiet and elegant. Thank you for a terrific stay.
