You won't find a better location in Annecy - you walk outside and you're facing the lake, the mountains, and the running/bike trail. The room seems small when you walk in, but it's really not an issue because of the foldable bed/sleeper sofa. And the bed was VERY comfortable. Our hosts went above and beyond with their responsiveness and accommodations. The kitchen has everything you need - we prepared several meals at home while we were there. Two working elevators made getting up and down from the ground floor to the 5th floor so easy. And you can't beat the privacy! The unit faces nothing but trees, so there is no way anyone can see you while you're home.
It was difficult to find the place, but perhaps that was partially our fault. We walked around and around the block several times before we found it.
