Ease of access, and the host responded promptly to enquiries I made by phone/text (the Booking.com app would not download to my phone - Booking.com is apparently quite notorious for trying to impose required upgrades on customers, but I won't 'play ball' and nor should you!). The property was also quiet so I was able to get a good night's sleep, and is very conveniently located for local amenities and public transport to much of Liverpool inc. the city centre - the number 14 bus takes you a few mins away by foot.
The bathroom was occupied by the same person for almost the whole hour immediately before I was due to check out, and I was quite desperate to use it (in part due to having had a very hot curry the night before from the Anfield Balti House around the corner - one of the highlights of the area, though other such outlets are available). This is hardly the fault of the host assuming she wasn't the bathroom-hogger(!), of course, but maybe a notice specifically requesting that guests be considerate of others when using it would be appropriate (thankfully I don't suffer from IBS or a similar gastrointestinal condition).

Loved the location. Right near Anfield. Bed was comfy and at a good price.
Probably the only annoyance was having to share a bathroom with 4 others as I had to wait ages to get in and the floor was wet. But that’s not the owners fault. I would happily stay at the same place again.
