The location is absolutely perfect, right behind the Cathedral and just a 2–5 minute walk from almost everywhere in the Old Town. It’s ideally situated between the Eastern and Western parts of the city, making it incredibly easy to explore both sides of Sarajevo on foot.
What we loved most was the character of the place itself. As a traditional Bosnian house, it reflects the soul and history of the city so beautifully. Lejla has thought of so many little details to make her guests feel comfortable and at home. We genuinely felt as though we were staying at the home of someone we knew in Sarajevo rather than in a rental accommodation. It was warm, cosy, welcoming, and full of character.
Lejla was such a lovely and welcoming host. She made us feel at home from the very beginning and even prepared a list of recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try in Sarajevo. Every place she recommended was fantastic, which made our experience in the city even more special. She truly is an amazing host who goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome.
If you’re looking for a place where you can truly feel the spirit of Sarajevo while staying in an unbeatable location, this is a wonderful choice. If you prefer a more modern, minimalist, and hotel-like experience, a traditional house like this might not be your first choice, but for us, its authentic character was part of what made the stay so special.

Great location, quiet and clean apartment. Nice and helpful host. The apartment well equipped with everything needed.
It was a bit cold in the apartment. Though there was an air condition, I chose not to use.
