Great Location and Potential, but Serious Cleanliness and Mold Issues

The location of the property is convenient and surrounding garden is very nice and well maintained

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of this property fell well below expectations. The most concerning issue was the bathroom, where there was significant mold buildup along the shower walls and sealant. The mold was clearly visible, extensive, and appeared to be a long-standing issue rather than something that had developed recently. As one of our family members has asthma, this was particularly worrying and made even the thought of using the shower uncomfortable throughout the stay. The general standard of cleaning also requires significant improvement. We found hairs left in the apartment, dead insects on the walls, and a substantial amount of dust accumulated under the bed, suggesting that some areas had not been cleaned for quite some time. These issues collectively gave the impression that the property had not been thoroughly prepared before our arrival. We raised our concerns and pushed for reimbursement so that we could relocate. While the owner was willing to offer compensation, the amount proposed was not sufficient to secure comparable accommodation in the neighborhood at such short notice. Unfortunately, despite discussions, we were unable to find a workable solution and had little choice but to remain at the property. The host was responsive and acknowledged the concerns, which we appreciate. However, cleanliness is a basic expectation rather than an optional feature. If having a clean bathroom and being able to take a shower without worrying about mold is important to you, I would not recommend booking this property until these issues have been properly addressed

Parfait

Le calme, la villa d’époque , la décoration , les volumes de l’appartement

Le frigidaire fonctionnait à très faible puissance , et il faisait excessivement chaud. La vue de l’appartement donne sur le parc et non sur le lac .
