Lovely apartment close to the river.

Location was great. Very clean. Liked the extra bits that were left in the cupboard presumably from previous guests. Communication with the host was excellent.

Possibly the bathroom could do with an upgrade. It fits the age of the building but it is looking a bit aged. The wooden stairs to the bedrooms upstairs are a little steep and my little dog struggled climbing them.

Charming stay and wonderful host

Jean Louis is a wonderful host! The house is simple, but has everything you might need. Communication with the host made all the difference for us - he proactively reached out to check if we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for other travellers exploring the Atlantic Pyrenees and the Bearn area.

Given the lower floor is at/somewhat below ground level, there was quite a bit of humidity. Bring mosquito repellent with you as Oloron Ste Marie is situated amidst two rivers with lots of vegetation, and mosquitos thrive in this environment (not a deficiency of the property in any way, but a characteristic of the area).

Bien!

Bien situé, beaucoup de petites attentions agréables. Propre.
