Villa Nova Bar is exceptionally clean, tidy, and modern. Everything felt brand new, well-maintained, and designed for a comfortable stay. The rooms are a great, and the property matched the online photos and description perfectly.
The house is stocked with everything you might need, including spare towels and cleaning supplies. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and the coffee machine is top-notch!
The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. They greeted us warmly, helped us settle in, and were quick to assist us when we had a small issue with the coffee machine, resolving it smoothly.
The house has a private, enclosed indoor garage with a rolling shutter.
The villa offers a wonderfully quiet, pleasant, and relaxing environment, making it highly recommended for families and anyone who values a pristine, comfortable vacation spot.
The villa is situated in a quiet, non-central area that is far from the beach, supermarkets, and general town hubs. There aren't many major attractions in the immediate neighborhood—aside from Europe's oldest olive tree and the brilliant Stari Bar fortress, which is definitely worth a visit.
Because of this, a car is an absolute must to get around and reach anywhere.
The hosts kindly request that guests remove their shoes upon entering to maintain the incredible cleanliness of the house. While we completely appreciated the spotless result, it would be helpful if this rule was explicitly mentioned in the property description in advance.
While the kitchen is great for cooking, adding a microwave and a toaster would make the culinary setup even more complete and convenient for guests.

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt! Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig und perfekt für einen entspannten Familienurlaub. Der Pool könnte zwar noch ein kleines bisschen größer sein, aber insgesamt hat alles sehr gut gepasst. Wir hatten eine schöne und erholsame Zeit und kommen gerne wieder! 😊
Ein kleiner Tipp für zukünftige Gäste: Die Unterkunft liegt wunderbar ruhig und ist dadurch perfekt für einen entspannten Familienurlaub. Wer allerdings ohne Auto anreist, sollte wissen, dass Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und andere Ziele etwas weiter entfernt liegen. Mit dem Auto ist jedoch alles gut und unkompliziert zu erreichen. Für uns war die ruhige Lage insgesamt ein großer Pluspunkt.

The villa is beautifully decorated and super well equipped. The stand out feature is certainly the pool which the kids absolutely loved. The villa also has stunning views both from the swimming pool and the roof. The hosts are lovely people who cannot do enough to be accommodating.

Overall, this is a modern, clean, and comfortable villa in a location that can serve as a base for trips in the area.
The surrounding area is beautiful and authentic, and day trips to Bar and Budva are easy, although traffic can be quite heavy at certain times of the day.
The villa is well designed and thoughtfully laid out, with a comfortable living room and open kitchen, three good-sized bedrooms with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space, and two bathrooms. Everything is new, very clean, and well maintained.
Air conditioning in the living room and all bedrooms- very comfortable during the hot weather late July, although there was only one working remote control for the four units. Fortunately, this was manageable.
We also appreciated that all windows were fitted with both insect screens and shutters.
The pool and terrace are not very large, but they were perfect for cooling off and relaxing.
The large (two car) garage underneath the house was a great feature and kept the car (relatively) cool and secure.
The host was friendly and easy to contact via WhatsApp or phone whenever needed.
The pool filtration system was surprisingly noisy. We reported this to the host and were told that the noise level was normal. After about four days, the noise became even louder. Due to the heat, the water level had dropped, and after consulting with the host we added water to the pool, which reduced the noise somewhat, but it remained quite noticeable, even at night.
Additionally, the bottom of the pool started to turn slightly green after a few days (we stayed 6 days), and we couldn’t find instructions regarding pool maintenance.
One point that would have been helpful to know in advance was that payment had to be made in cash upon arrival (although not unusual in Montenegro; we encountered the same at another property). We did not have the full amount with us, so we had to visit an ATM together. If we would have known in advance, we would have been better prepared.
One small disappointment was that the sea is not visible from the (pool) terrace, and directly in front of the house there is a small old wooden structure that is visually not very attractive. However, there may be sea views from the rooftop terrace.
Note: you definitely need a car.
