When you book The Two Houses, you have exclusive use of both luxury cabins, their private outdoor living areas and the magnesium mineral pool, all immersed in the ancient Gondwana Rainforest. Both homes are kept spotless with professional cleaning before every stay.

THE POOL HOUSE is a sun-drenched oasis centred around its stunning private magnesium pool. Inside, you'll find a newly renovated designer bathroom, a cloud-like lounge with a 65" 4K Apple TV, and a luxurious bedroom featuring premium linens and plush Sheridan towels.

THE CREEK HOUSE is a secluded sanctuary perched metres from the soothing sounds of Snows Creek, featuring a magical outdoor rain shower. Inside, you'll find bright, uplifting decor, a brand-new, deeply comfortable sofa perfect for movie nights on your own 65" 4K Apple TV, a romantic electric fireplace, and a peaceful bedroom with high-quality linens and custom-selected premium bath towels.


A NOTE ON OUR RAINFOREST RETREAT:

The two houses are approximately 40 metres apart, positioned at different elevations and thoughtfully oriented to face opposite directions. This design allows each house to enjoy its own private outlook and outdoor living spaces.

Our on-site property assistant, Dan, lives permanently in a caravan near the property's entrance, approximately 70 metres from the Pool House and 80 metres from the Creek House. His caravan faces away from both homes, with a garage alongside it providing additional separation and privacy.

Dan respects our guests' privacy and generally keeps to his own area, although you may occasionally see him going about everyday activities or helping with property maintenance. He can also assist with urgent property matters if you're unable to reach us.

Dan shares his home with Rain, a gentle, timid blue heeler who is a little hard of hearing. Rain sometimes wanders around the property off-lead, including along the driveway and potentially near guest areas. If you're bringing your own dog, please be aware that you may encounter Rain during your stay.

While both houses and their dedicated outdoor living areas are exclusively yours, the wider acreage is also home to Dan and Rain.

Powered by our massive solar system (with mains backup) and serviced by pure rainwater, your stay offers all the modern indulgences while remaining deeply connected to the natural world. We are a world away, yet just 25 minutes from the famous Doma Café in Federal.


THE JOURNEY TO YOUR RETREAT:

Our beautiful, secluded rainforest location is part of the magic. The final stretch of your journey is along a maintained, unsealed country road suitable for standard 2WD and 4WD vehicles.

Wallabies, birds and other wildlife regularly cross the roads and driveway, often without warning. Please drive carefully, particularly at dawn and dusk.

The nearest supermarket is approximately 35 minutes away along winding country roads, so we recommend stocking up before arriving.

Mobile reception is limited in our valley. We recommend enabling Wi-Fi Calling and downloading your driving directions before leaving the nearest town.
