The location is just so perfect for exploring Siena. Very close to all the main attractions but still quiet. Situated at the entry to the town literally 5 metres from the top of the escalators (yes escalators) that get you into the walls of the town. So no need to manage heavy luggage for too far. We had the downstairs little apartment and the pictures here do not do it justice. It looked like it had been newly renovated and had all the modern conveniences. It was gorgeous. We felt like we were staying on a movie set, waking the medieval streets.

Nothing. However, if you are leaving a car, be sure to get directions to that car parking, not the accommodation, as GPS navigation tried to take you through the ZTL zone which you can’t drive in.
