First impressions of the station master’s cottage were lovely, if you like secluded this is the place, saying that if you don’t mind a drive your in easy reach of civilisation just don’t expect a stroll to it.
I have never stayed in a cottage that was so well equipped in the kitchen, it was very clean very comfortable and very important it was nice and warm all day and night, and Colin and Fiona couldn’t have been more bro, we would all definitely return.

Fiona and Colin are perfect hosts, we had an amazing time at the Station Masters House. The location is idyllic and peaceful. We had the wonderful experience of seeing badgers and foxes outside our window. Colin showed us the star constellations on a clear night and we had the fantastic opportunity to see the Aurora Borealis. The cottage is superb, beautifully decorated, the kitchen was brilliant, well stocked with everything you need. The bedrooms were gorgeous, spacious and very comfy beds. We were sad to leave, we had a wonderful time. Many thanks Fiona and Colin
