Unbeatable location, stylish and safe but under-resourced
Great communication by the host. Very clear and easy to follow instructions. I was given a phone number in case of problems. Very good check in experience.
The location IS THE BEST! Honestly one of the best places in the city to see the sunset over the bay and the Islas de Cies. People gather on the street outside to watch the sun go down. Definitely a fantastic location. Best thing about the place. Really central, but not too loud. Feels safe, plus there is a taxi rank right across the street, which is really handy if (like me) you need to get transport to the train/bus station.
It is - in my opinion - very under-resourced. It's a self-catering place, ok. I've stayed in many. But I have never encountered a place with; no salt, no oil, no water, no....anything! Plus they give you only two toilet rolls and ONE bin bag (and this is for a week's stay). Also, no laundry liquid, even though there is a washing machine. I get that you are self-catering but c'mon....this is a bit mean. There is also no grater, no peeler, no small knife, no draining board for wet crockery, no tea-towels.
Just before coming here I stayed in a 'cheap' hotel in Oviedo that had a communal kitchen that provided you with *everything* you might need to cook. And it was 50 Euros per night. So it makes this - not inexpensive - apartment look a bit stingy.
It's also important to note that it's not actually an apartment - it's a studio. There is not a separate bedroom, the bed is just separated from the living area by a curtain. the only separate room is the bathroom.
It also states that you have use of a washing machine/iron/dryer etc. But be aware that these facilities are shared with the next door apartment.
All of these issue are not a huge deal - I *loved* my stay there because, as I say, it is the best location in the city. It's very stylish and comfortable. But, I also think people need to be fully aware of the actual deal they are getting because it's not cheap and the supplies (kitchen equipment and basics) really needs to be improved.

Good potential, but needs better maintenance
Location is just great! Easy access to everything. Very charming area and still easy to reach by car. Plus a view to die for!
The apartment looks like the photos, but they seem to have been taken when the property was first listed. Since then, everything appears to have become quite worn, and a few small investments would make a huge difference to the overall experience.
For example, the sofa has stains and has a strong smell of massage oil. Using washable sofa covers and cleaning them regularly would greatly improve both the appearance and the hygiene. The same smell was noticeable around the bed, which was unpleasant.
There were also several smaller details that gave the impression that maintenance and housekeeping could be improved. The bathroom mirror is beginning to rust, and I was surprised to find some cutlery that wasn't completely clean.
The kitchen is reasonably equipped with plates, pans, and utensils, but there were no basic cooking essentials such as oil, salt, or pepper. Even a small starter set would be appreciated by guests (not to mention to keep what other tourists are leaving behind).
For a one-week stay, only two rolls of toilet paper were provided, and no one checked whether we needed fresh towels or any other supplies. We had to buy and left them there.
It also appears that the person responsible for maintaining this and other apartments lives next door. Throughout the days, there was constant washing and drying of laundry, which was quite noticeable and disturbing because the building has very little to no sound insulation. You can easily hear what is happening in the small hallway dividing the apartments, so privacy is limited, not to mention disturbing.
Finally, while this is outside the owner's control, it's worth mentioning that there is significant construction work taking place nearby during the week. If you are planning to work remotely or simply want a quiet stay, be prepared for construction noise on weekdays. Weekends, however, were much quieter.

Loved it. Loved Vigo. We will be back!
The location was perfect. Close to everything. Great views of the bay/ocean.
We did initially have a little problem with the WiFi, but to there credit they made sure we got it working. The one thing I think they should let people know, is that there is a steep staircase to get up to the apartment. Well worth the climb. Not a problem for my wife and I, since we are from San Francisco. But some people could have issues, but the apartment is perfect.

Absolutely fantastic apartment for a weekend bolthole exploring Vigo.
Such a lovely little apartment. Perfect size, little balcony, great decor, felt really at home here - the sofa is SO comfy. Big mirrors in the bathroom, strong pressure on the shower. Nice little stove top and handy microwave with grill function. Fabulous location with great local bars and can roll into town. Really easy to access. Smart TV which is always handy! Lots of crockery, some coffee pods to get you going... great views... this is THE place to explore Vigo from. Search no further!
This is a personal preference like, the apartment is bang on everything really impressive - but - I'd love a bigger towel - but like I said - everything else spot on it's only a bit of feedback because there's no real negatives. Oooo ! Tea towel - would be handy to dry up the crockery/glasses after washing up! That's it.
